Charlotte Lorraine (Heinritz) Hughes

Charlotte Lorraine Hughes, age 95, of Leesburg, FL formerly of Level Green passed to Life Triumphant at the home of her daughter and son-in-law on Sunday April 7, 2024.  Charlotte was born on September 4, 1928 in Pittsburgh the daughter of the late Albert H. and Margaret (Koch) Heinritz.  Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband David A. Hughes and her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Peggy Heinritz.  Charlotte was a member of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in FL and a former member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church in Trafford.  She was an avid fisherwoman, hunter, and square dancer for 40 plus years all with her husband David.  She was a very independent woman and she loved spending time with her family.  Charlotte is survived by her children David A. Hughes Jr. (Sylvia), Gary R. Hughes (the late Stephanie) and Cynthia M. McCune (David); her grandchildren Karyn M. Allen (Chris), Jennifer L. Hughes, Christina M. Hughes, Heather L. McCrory (the late Jack), Scott D. McCune (Tori) and Tyler J. McCune (Danielle); her great-grandchildren Angel M. Weidenbach (Matt) and Bastion S. McCune.    Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111. Funeral services will be at 1PM in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Main Street Irwin PA with Pastor Sarah Lee-Faulkner officiating.  If you are attending the funeral service please go directly to the church.  Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery, Hempfield Twp. www.dobrinickfhinc.com
