Marie E. (McGhee) Amsler

Marie E. (McGhee) Amsler, age 71, of Level Green, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 9, 2024. Marie was born on January 4, 1953, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Evelyn Marie (Limegrover) McGhee of Level Green and the late Archie Van McGhee. Marie retired from CVS Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician. Throughout her life, she enjoyed traveling and camping, Civic Arena events with her son, bowling with her mother and friends, hanging out with her grandkids, attending Pirate games with her son, playing solitaire, Wednesday night card night at her mom's and she loved anything that involved butterflies. In addition to her father, Marie is preceded in death by her brothers, Benjamin Franklin McGhee (Barb) and Robert Paul McGhee. Marie is survived by her estranged husband, Walter Paul Amsler; her son, Jeff McGhee (Erica O'Neal), of Hutchinson; her grandchildren, Brandon Robert McGhee (Fiancé Lauren) of Hutchinson, Ashley Victoria McNaney (Colton) of West Newton, Samantha Christine McGhee of Hutchinson and Ryan Kristopher McGhee of Hutchinson; her siblings Charles Van McGhee (Barb) of Irwin, John Michael McGhee (Beth) of Irwin, Donald Richard McGhee of Adamsburg, Kathryn Ann Kemper (Terry) of Hanover, PA, Mary Elizabeth Conroy (James) of Trafford, Ella Louise Halaja (Larry) of McKees Rocks, Arleen V. Dulemba (Ken) of Murrysville and Alice Veronica Pettit (Greg) of Charleston, WV; sister-in-law Carol McGhee of Pittsburgh and 23 nieces and nephews, 30+ great nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 12, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th Street (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 13, at 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
