Marilyn Wiser Obituary

Marilyn B. Wiser, age 94, of Penn, formerly of Trafford passed away on Wednesday April 10, 2024 in Walden’s View of North Huntingdon.  Marilyn was born on November 28, 1929 the daughter of the late Orvis and Pearl (Jessop) Brown.  Marilyn was a member of the Penn Zion Lutheran Church, and was a former member of the former St. Mark Lutheran Church in Trafford.  She was a former member of the Trafford Fire Co. No. 1 Ladies Auxiliary, she loved to sew, do ceramics and embroidery.  In addition to her parents Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Weslie G. Wiser; her son Darrel W. Wiser; her grandson Ben Cromer; and her siblings Florence Koepka and Jean Lambeth.  Marilyn is survived by her children Judith Cromer (Larry McKinney), Weslie David Wiser (Belinda) and Dennis Wiser (Maryann); 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and her sisters Carole Helsel and Ferna Hartman.  Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Robert J. Marks officiating.  Interment will follow in the Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, N. Huntingdon.  www.dobrinickfhinc.com
