Vera B. (Repko) Morris

Vera B. Morris, age 93, of Level Green passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024.  Vera was born on August 6, 1930 in New Alexandria the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Polk) Repko.  Vera was a member of the St. Regis Church in Trafford; Young at Heart of Harrison City and she enjoyed bowling with her friends for many years in Trafford. Vera enjoyed gardening, playing cards, baking (she liked her sweets) and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John R. Morris; several brothers and sisters; her sister-in-law JoAnn and husband Chuck Dover and her brother-in-law John Kapa.  Vera is survived by her children Michael Morris (JoAnne) of Monroeville, Gary Morris (Sharon) of Mechanicsburg, Eric Morris of Level Green and Beth Ann Thornton (Frank) of Philadelphia; her grandchildren Joseph Morris, Andrew Morris (Jen), Jennifer Connors (Ryan), Chad, Katelyn and Noah Morris and Julia Thornton; her great-grandchildren Bryda Morris, Finn, Emily and Liam Connors; her sister-in-law Carol Kapa; her brother Joseph Repko and numerous nieces and nephews.  The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and residents at Point Pleasant Retirement Community and Gallagher Home Health Care Services for their care and friendship of Vera for the past six months. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111.
