Michael Grasha age 93 of Level Green passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013 in Berlin MD. Mike was born on November 3, 1919 in Police, Croatia the son of the late Charles and Catherine Mateljan Grasha. Mike was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Army as a Communications Sgt. With the 665th Tank Destroyer Battalion. He was a member of the St. Regis Church Trafford, a member of the Croation Fraternal Union Lodge #6 Rankin for over 80 years and was the former Jr. Order Director for the Union and was retired as an optician from Doig Opital. Mike was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Culig Grasha in 2001. Mike is survived by his children Zora Payne (George) of Ocean City MD, Paula Dombrosky (Tom) of Naperville IL, Steven Grasha (Marlene) and, Marlene Matthews (Dan) both of Level Green; grandchildren Julie Dombrosky, Michael Dombrosky (Lauren) of Chicago IL, Tina Bricker (Ben) of State College, Grant and Glenn Grasha of Level Green; great-grandsons Mason and Parker Dombrosky and a great-granddaughter Bennie Day Bricker; and a sister Louise Bursic of Verona. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-9 PM on Thursday and from 9AM until parting prayers at 10AM Friday in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th St. (St. Rt. 130) Trafford 412-372-3111 until the funeral mass at 10:30 AM in the St. Regis Church with Fr. David Nazimek as celebrant. Entombment with military honors will follow in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Monroeville.
