Deborah was born on April 14, 1957 in Braddock, the daughter of the late Robert J. and Gertrude (Martchek) Drylie. Deborah is survived by her son Jason Friedline and wife Traci of Trafford. Ruth M. Yanuzo age 94 of Trafford passed away on Sunday March 1, 2015 in the William Penn Care Center, Penn Twp. Ruth was born on November 7, 1920 in Braddock the daughter of the late David R. and Ruth E. (Miller) Matthews. Ruth retired from Westinghouse and she was an active member of the Christian Life Church Trafford. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband John Yanuzo and brothers Paul, Clyde and Dave Matthews. Angela D. Meyer, 92, of Penn Township, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, in William Penn Care Center, Penn Township. She was born March 26, 1922, in Italy, a daughter of the late Nicolino and Nicoletta (DiNinno) DeSaia. Angela was a member of St. Regis Church, Trafford. Angela loved to sing at the restaurant where she worked as a waitress in Atlantic City, N.J. She also loved to cook, with her specialty being pasta. Angela was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Meyer; and her sister, Carmella Carter. Angela is survived by her sisters, Jessie Matta (the late Don), of Portland, Ore., and Esther Palamone (the late Tony), of Penn Township; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Elizabeth (Betty) E. Yeske, 87 of Level Green, passed away on February 19, 2015. She was born on March 14, 1927, in McCullough (Penn Twp.) to Nicholas and Margaret Swanson. Betty earned her Registered Nursing Degree in the last graduating class from West Penn Army Nursing Corp and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public School Nursing from Indiana University. She fulfilled her nursing career working in Columbia and East Suburban Hospitals. On August 13, 1949, she married the love of her life Arnold E. Yeske and moved to Level Green where they raised three children. She loved to play cards, read, vacation and spend time with family and friends. Betty is survived by children, Pamela (Norman) Krotz, Arnold (Nancy), Karl (Carol); four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Lohr; Sister-in-Law, Wanda McClelland; and many other relatives and friends. Mary Klovanic Slepsky, 95, of Monroeville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, in the Life Care Hospital, Monroeville. Mary was born Jan. 13, 1920, in Trafford, the daughter of the late George and Eva (Becklin) Klovanic. Mary was a member of the North American Martyrs Church Monroeville, a member of the Holiday Park Artist League and during World War II she worked at the Westinghouse in Trafford assembling military helmets for soldiers. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Slepsky; and her son, Robert F. Slepsky; and five siblings, Ann Icardi, Michael Klovanic, John Klovanich, Ted Klovanic and Sally Washko. She was a member of St. Regis Church and she was the co-owner & operator of the Mazur Hotel in Wilmerding. Wife of the late Stanley M. Mazur; mother of William (Janet) Mazur of TX, Jane (Lloyd) Hunley of Grand Junction, CO, and Marian (Regis) Vollmer of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Anna B. Thomas age 83 of Level Green passed away on Tuesday February 3, 2015 at her home. Anna was born on December 27, 1931 in Lake Lynn WV the daughter of the late Glenden C. and Ella M. Charles J. Gozdanovich age 63 of Level Green passed away on Saturday January 31, 2015 in his home. Charles was born on February 10, 1951 the son of the late Charles Thomas and Olga Ostroski Gozdanovich who just passed away January 13, 2015. Charles was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the US Air Force with the rank of SGT. He was currently the Vice-President of Credit Audit at PNC Bank Financial Services Group in Pittsburgh. Jean Allison Otto, age 69, of Trafford, died after putting up the good fight against complications due to surgery. Jean will be remembered by many for her humor, charm, height, and beauty. Elizabeth Louise “Betty” (Petrusky) Bruno age 87 of Harrison City, formerly of Trafford passed away on Tuesday January 27, 2015 in the Forbes Regional Hospital. Betty was born on September 4, 1927 in Brisbin PA the daughter of the late Emery and Ellen (Bizub) Petrusky. Betty was a member of the St. Regis Church Trafford and its former Altar Rosary Society. She retired as a Registered Nurse from Braddock Hospital with over 30 years of service. She trained as an Army Cadet Nurse at the end of WWII, was a member of the Homestead Hospital Nurses Alumni Association, the ISDA Forest Hills Lodge #224 and was an avid bowler. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Stanley J. Bruno Sr. in 2005, a brother Roman Petrusky and a sister Catherine Humberston. Betty is survived by her children Carol Gevaudan (Edmond) of Harrison City, JoEllen Bruno (William Cline) of Latrobe and Stanley J. Bruno Jr. (Kelly) of Claridge; her five grandchildren Cristie Gevaudan (Mike Vargulish), Renee Kozielec (Sean), Robert Bruno, Elizabeth Bruno South and Luke Cline; her three great-grandchildren Frankie South, Dean Kozielec and Rylee Vargulish; and her two sisters June Prizmonte of N.
