Lantz L. Buccella age 84 of Level Green passed away on Thursday January 8, 2015 in Manor Care of Monroeville.  Lantz was born on January 22 1930 in Pitcairn the son of the late Rocco and Joesphine (Minicucci)Buccella.  Lantz was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the Navy.  Lantz retired from US Steel with over 30 years of service and then worked for several years at the Volkswagen Plant in New Stanton.  He was a member of the St. Regis Church, Trafford American Legion Post 331, St. John Kanty Lodge (Polish Club) Trafford; he enjoyed playing pool and golf.  Lantz was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Lantz was preceded in death by his wife Janet DiTomasso Buccella and a brother Tristone “Patsy” Buccella.  Lantz is survived by his children John Buccella (Sue) of Jeannette, Paul Buccella (Janey) of Westmoreland City and Sharon Buccella of Level Green; his grandchildren Jonathan, Sara and Julie Buccella and Joshua and Taylor Resnick; and his siblings Paul Buccella of IL, Ethel Buccella of McKeesport and Antionette “Dolly” Mashione of MI and numerous nieces and nephews.   Family and friends will be received from 6-9 PM on Saturday and from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Sunday in the John M. Harold J. Behe

Harold J. Behe age 85 of Trafford passed away on Wednesday January 7, 2015 in Concordia of Monroeville.  Harold was born on February 27, 1929 in Gallitzin the son of the late Raymond F. and Beatrice Agatha (Haupt) Behe.  Harold was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Army in the Counterintelligence Corps.  He graduated from Point Park College with a degree in Engineering and then worked and retired from Westinghouse PCB in Trafford as an Engineer.  He was an active member of the St. Regis Church, serving on its Parish Council, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #6299 serving as Grand Knight and was District Deputy for the Diocese of Greensburg Knights of Columbus and Harold was a co-founding member of the Trafford Emergency Medical Service.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his three siblings Loretto Oravecz, Alfred “Bud” Behe, Marie Griffin and six infant brothers and sisters.  Harold is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Dorothy (Smorey) Behe, his six children Regis Behe, Barbara Sawchak (Alan), Raymond Behe (Hope), Frances O’Connor (Donald), MaryAnne Culleiton and Sandra Behe; his grandchildren Elizabeth, Melissa, Kyle, Devin, Megan and Matthew; his sister Ann McBride and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M. Regis A. “Rege” Owoc

Regis “Rege” Anthony Owoc, 79, died Saturday January 3, 2015 at his home after a battle with cancer.   Regis was born on September 13, 1935 in McKeesport the son of the late Andrew and Eleanor (Cynkar) Owoc.  Regis attended McKeesport High School where he was an avid member of the tennis team.  He fondly recalled working summers at Renzi Park on the clay tennis courts with his brother Jack.  After graduating in 1953, he honorably served in the United States Army from June 1958 to June 1960.  He was honorably discharged with the rank of PFC in 1964.  After his discharge, Regis returned to McKeesport and worked for over 20 years as a pipe inspector for Moody Engineering Co.  He had an incredible smile and will be missed by his family and friends who have known him to be one of the nicest persons to walk the face of the earth.  Regis will also be remembered for his simplicity, honesty and sense of humor.   Regis was preceded in death by his wife Doris J. Owoc in 2005, his sister Ruth Ann Johnson and brother Robert “Bob” A. Owoc.  He will be greatly missed by his two oldest brothers Anthony “Tony” O. Walk and Jack A. Owoc; and he is survived by three nieces, seven nephews, nine grandnieces, eight grandnephews, two great-grandnieces and two great-grand nephews.  Family and friends will be received on Friday evening from 5-8 PM only in the John M. Virgil Valmassoni age 96 of Trafford passed away Christmas Morning December 25, 2014 in the Concordia of the South Hills.  Virgil was born on June 3, 1918 in Trafford the son of the late George and Josephine (Marnoni) Valmassoni.  Virgil was a member of the St. Regis Church Trafford and retired as a crane operator from Westinghouse in E. Pittsburgh.  Virgil was preceded in death by his wife Eileen (Rodgers) Valmassoni in 2012 and two brothers Charles and George Valmassoni.  Virgil is survived by his daughter Sandra L. Federlein (Jim) of McMurray; his grandchildren Melissa Federlein Brandstatter (Bryan) and Jeanene Federlein Smail (Joe); his great-grandchildren Graden and Ava Brandstatter and Finnegan Smail.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-5 PM in the John M. Christine Carpenter

Our Mom, Chis Carpenter of Trafford, died peacefully at home on December 23, 2014.  She was born on September 10, 1942 the daughter of the late John and Margaret Pastva.  She was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing.  Chris spent her career caring for and helping others.  Also she was a writer, artist and animal lover.  Although she was not well for the last several years of her life, she never complained and accepted her illnesses and limitations with grace.  Chris is survived by her children, Rachael (Mike) Schell, Jessica Scott and Andrew Carpenter, and was the mother of the late Gretchen Leah Carpenter.  She was a loving Mummel to her grandchildren Leah, Matthew and Emily Scott, Jonathan Branch and Kerrie Carpenter.  Chris is also survived by former sons-in-law Randy Branch and Larry Scott along with aunts, an uncle and many cousins who loved her.  Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 2-6 PM in the John M. Rose M. (Sennec) Yerace age 97 of Monroeville passed away on Saturday December 20, 2014 in the Forbes Regional Hospital Monroeville.  Rose was born on July 28, 1917 in Chalfant the daughter of the late Conrad and Marie (Ungerman) Sennec.  Rose was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching baseball especially the Pirates.  Rose was preceded in death by her husband Guy F. Yerace in 2000 and her two brothers Joseph and Emil Sennec.  Rose is survived by her children Guy A. Yerace of Monroeville, Mary Brown (George) of Trafford and Geraldine Powell (Merle) of Pleasant Unity; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until 12 Noon in the John M. Betty J. Casario

(Caesar) Casario age 89 of Jeannette passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  Betty was born on December 7, 1925 in Jeannette, the daughter of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Reitz) Caesar.  Betty was a member of the Ascension Church Jeannette, and was also a volunteer for their Italian Festival and Spaghetti Dinners for many years.  She was a graduate of Jeannette HS Class of 1944.  She loved playing cards and was a charter member of the 500 Card Club for over 60 years as well as playing with her Pinochle Club.  Betty was also a wonderful cook and baker who made delicious pies enjoyed by all.  Betty was preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Casario in 2012 and her daughter Patricia A. Gibson.  Betty is survived by her son John Casario (Sharon) and her son-in-law Robert Gibson both of Jeannette; her grandchildren Matthew and Travis Gibson and Paige Casario; her siblings Dorothy Vitolo (Paul) and Joseph Caesar (Lucille); her sister and brother-in-law Dolores and Joseph J. Pacelli of Jeannette and her sister-in-law Bonnie Dobrinick of Trafford and close friends Paul and Dora Gaudi and special friend and neighbor Valetta Bradosky all of Jeannette.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the John M. Robert M. King

Robert M. King age 50 of Delmont passed away on Monday December 15, 2014 in his home.  Robert was born in Braddock the son of Donna (Zablocki) Pace of Munhall and the late George King.  Robert was a self-employed contractor by trade.  He loved fishing in the Monongahela River, watching Steeler Games, eating Triangle Bar Subs and a good Vinnie Pie and was a big supporter of the Penn-Trafford High School Football Program where his son played.   In addition to his father Robert was preceded in death by his step-father Artie Pace.  Along with his mother he is survived by his children Katie Gavin (Larry) and their daughter Terrah Rae of Level Green, Jon King (Samantha) of Trafford and Jordan King of Level Green; his two brothers Tom King of Pittsburgh and George King (Gwyn) of Dumas TX and a sister Carol King of Munhall.   Family and friends will be received from 2-8 PM on Thursday in the John M. Mary E. Kintigh

Mary E. Kintigh age 88 of Trafford passed away on Monday December 15, 2014 in her home.  Mary was born on December 20, 1925 in Chicora the daughter of the late Rev. Herman and Mabel (Deuer) Flick.  Mary was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church in Trafford.  She was preceded in death by her husband Milton F. Kintigh in 2010 and two brothers George and Paul Flick.  Mary is survived by her children Bill Kintigh of Warrington PA and Edna Morris (David) of Scott Twp.  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6-8 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the John M. John J. “Jack” Rose

Rose 2John J. “Jack” Rose age 89 of Penn Twp. passed away on Saturday December 6, 2014 in the Weatherwood Manor Greensburg.  Jack was born on June 11, 1925 in Cresson the son of the late John W. and Elizabeth (Rocus) Rose.  Jack was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Navy.  He served in the American, European and Pacific Theaters and was awarded the European, Pacific and American Theater Ribbon and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon and Victory Medal.  He was a member of the American Legion Post #174 in Gallitzin for 70 years.  He retired from Elliot Co. in Jeannette after 36 years of service and was a member of the St. Regis Church in Trafford.  Jack was preceded in death by his wife Margie (Risbon) Rose in 2010 and his two grandsons Jonathan Sabol and Stephen Rennekamp.  Jack is survived by his two daughters Elizabeth “Betty” Rennekamp (Steve) of Murrysville and Margery “Margie” Sabol (Donny) of Greensburg; his grandchildren Donnie Darragh (Chrissy), Jennifer Layton (William), Bethany Klosky (Justin) and his deceased grandson’s wife Darcy Sabol and; his 12 great-grandchildren Stephen, Tanner, Cole, Ellie, Alison, Paige, Paul, Elias, Connor, Morgan, Willow Rose and Finley and his brother Paul R. Rose of Beaver Falls.  Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the John M.
